2015 Spring Speaker Series

The Speaker Series of Illinois State University seeks to bring innovative and enlightening speakers to the campus with the aim of providing the community with a platform to foster dialogue, cultivate enriching ideas, and  continue an appreciation of learning as an active and lifelong process.

image of Wes MooreWes Moore is an Army combat veteran, a Rhodes Scholar, a former White House Fellow, and the host of the PBS show about returning veterans, Coming Back with Wes Moore.

Moore is also the author of The New York Times best-selling book The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates, which chronicles the journeys of Moore and another Wes Moore from his neighborhood whose life took a different and tragic path.

Reservations are required. Seats are $15 for students and $35 for non-students.
